WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
This professional-development workshop is suitable for individuals from any industry, job role, community or sporting organisation.

It provides participants with an understanding of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level to improve their Microsoft Excel skills.

At the completion of the workshop, you will be able to:
  • Demonstrate and discuss workstation ergonomics while working with Excel
  • Use Microsoft Excel Advanced features
  • Plan and create Advanced / Complex spreadsheets
  • Enter, check and amend data in Excel (Review the use of Excel Ribbon & tasks within each section)
  • Use and apply complex formulas in Excel (Test and check their function)
  • Discuss IF Formula, V-Look up & H-Look up and Nested IF statements
  • Discuss use of MACRO in Excel
  • Move / & Link Excel spreadsheets
  • Use Pivot Tables & Charts.


This workshop will provide participants with an understanding of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level to improve their Microsoft Excel skills. It is anticipated that the participants will be existing workers with range of experiences in diverse workplace contexts to better manage their current role responsibilities or to expand on their Microsoft Excel skill set to access employment or promotion.

The program is delivered over a one (1) day workshop via an online platform, facilitator led delivery will provide an overview of platform being utilised and expectations of participation whilst ensuring any participant technology issues are addressed.

Participants will need access to a computer with an operational version of Microsoft Excel installed on their computer. The program assumes participants will have intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge.
